Tekla Online services use Trimble Identity for identification. In addition to Tekla services, you can use your Trimble Identity with several other Trimble services, such as Trimble Connect and SketchUp 3D Warehouse. Trimble Identity provides single-sign-on access for Tekla Online services. You can sign in one service and then browse to another online service without a need to log in again. Find the services landing page here: http://www.tekla.com/services


If you cannot access the Tekla Discussion forum, please read and follow the instructions below.


Instructions for every forum user:

  1. Make sure that you have created a Trimble Identity for yourself
    1. If you have not created an identity, please do so.
  1. Make sure that your Trimble Identity is verified
    1. When you create a Trimble Identity, you will get an email containg a verification link. Make sure you click the link to activate your identity.
    2. Check your spam settings / spam email folder if you do not receive the email. It is likely your company’s email firewall is stopping emails from arriving. Please contact your IT department and ask them to allow emails from *@trimble.com and *@trimblepaas.com and *@mail.trimblepaas.com.
  2. Make sure that you get appropriate access rights to the Tekla Discussion Forum and all other Tekla Online Services

    For example, if you work for a company having a valid Tekla Structures maintenance contract, you are entitled to login to the Tekla Discussion Forums for Tekla Structures users on maintenance.
    1. Login to https://account.tekla.com and check your profile.
    2. If you do not see the name of your company mentioned in your profile under MY ORGANIZATION, it means that your personal Trimble Identity has not been linked to your organization in the service and you do not have on-maintenance access rights.
    3. Contact the main user in your company. He/she is the organization administrator of your company account.
    4. Ask him/her to invite you the your organization in the Tekla online service.

NOTE! Access rights to Tekla Online Services are granted to Tekla customer organizations and you get your access rights when you join your organization in the Tekla online service.

How do I invite the employees of my company to our organization in the Tekla online service?

  1. Login to the Tekla Online Admin Tool at https://admin.account.tekla.com using your own Trimble Identity.
  2. Open the company page and check the list of employees belonging to your company.
  3. If you cannot see all your employees on the list, invite them by clicking the Invite employees button.
  4. In the Invite employees to organization dialog, add the email addresses of all the employees you want to invite.
  5. Send the invite(s).

    When your employees accept the invitation, they are joining your company in the service and they will get the access rights your company is entitled to.

NOTE! If you cannot access the Tekla Online Admin Tool and you are the main user in your company, please contact your local Tekla Area Office / Tekla Reseller or your Account Manager for more information.
